The Cheltenham Acupuncturist

My journey to becoming an acupuncturist began in my 20s as an A&E nurse at the Royal Derby Hospital. While I loved caring for patients, I often felt I couldn’t spend enough time helping them truly heal. I’ve always believed in the body’s incredible ability to heal itself and have been passionate about natural health.

My own experience with acupuncture transformed my life. After struggling with recurrent miscarriages and a diagnosis of endometriosis, adenomyosis, and ovarian cysts, I turned to acupuncture as a last resort while preparing for IVF. To my amazement, I conceived that same month and went on to have a healthy pregnancy. That journey inspired me to train as an acupuncturist, combining my background in Western medicine with the wisdom of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

After completing my degree in acupuncture and Chinese medicine, I specialised in women’s health, supporting conditions such as infertility, menopause, hormonal imbalances, and mental health. It’s an area I’m deeply passionate about and love helping women find balance and healing.

 

In recent years, I’ve also seen a rise in painful periods and hormonal imbalances among teenagers and have been dedicated to helping them regulate their menstrual cycles and find relief. Additionally, I frequently work with ADHD and trauma patients and have found acupuncture to be highly successful in supporting their mental health, improving focus, and promoting emotional balance.

 

Today, my goal is to help you achieve balance, healing, and your health goals by combining the best of Western and Eastern knowledge. I’m committed to making acupuncture accessible and affordable for everyone, without increasing prices for specialised treatments within this field.
